Institute of Economics, Centre for Economic and Regional Studies, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Hungary (CERSHAS)

CERSHAS has a long-standing reputation of being the leading economic research institute in Hungary. It is an independent, non-profit academic institution dedicated to high-quality theoretical and applied research in economics. An expansive database has been built up at CERSHAS, and emphasis is placed on the continuous advancement of methodological skills. REPEC (Research Papers in Economics) puts CERSHAS as the first research institute in Hungary, which offers science-based insights into the Hungarian economy and the EU, thereby contributing both directly and indirectly to better policymaking. CERSHAS scholars regularly participate in EU-related international projects and networks of scholars. In the EdEN projects, researchers from the economics of education and labour research group will participate.
